We were appointed as the Principal Contractor to oversee the conversion of this central Nottingham property into a Museum dedicated to the Venerable Mary Potter. Works included a new side extension, external landscaping and remodelling of the existing property including the construction of a new lift shaft and the installation of a new lift.
Type of Contract - Design and Build
Key Features
A new 4 storey side extension including a basement conversion
New stained glass windows installed within the property
The customers were based in London, for this reason we regularly travelled to attend co-ordination meetings with the customers and the design team.
In addition to the building showcasing the achievement of Mary Potter the 2nd floor was also transformed into accommodation for the Sister's managing the museum.
Our works on this project were recognised with a Certificate of Craftmanship award for the counties of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
