We were asked to build a bespoke new home for a family in Edwalton, Nottingham.
The works involved the demolition of an existing property and the construction of a new four storey home incorporating a large basement and a separate double garage and storeroom.
The construction of the building’s shell incorporated reinforced waterproof concrete walls to form the basement and to form part of the tanking structure, reinforced columns and beams, hollowcore concrete floors and blockwork cavity wall construction and the top floor of the building was formed out of timber frame.
Some of the key features of this construction include underfloor heating to all floors, powder coated aluminium to windows, doors and cladding. High end sanitary ware and tiles were fitted to all eight bathrooms, along with porcelanosa tiles and Karndean flooring to the basement, ground and top floor.
We also undertook the external landscaping of the property which involved artificial grass, a resin bound driveway and a bespoke barbeque area along with fencing and a sunken trampoline.
